Signing to Polydor in 1994, Shed Seven's debut individual "Mark"/"Casino Girl" elevated few eyebrows, merely their irregular travail, "Dolphin," reached the UK Top 30; undermentioned a third base single, "Speakeasy," the chemical group shut out the year with the discharge of their debut LP, Change Giver. Although widely laid-off as mere pretenders to the Britpop throne, subsequent Shed Seven singles including "Where Have You Been Lately?" and "Ocean Pie" continued to strike the charts, and although American success was non upcoming, the quartet achieved megastardom in, of all places, Thailand.
